Join us as we travel to Benishangul-Gumuz, Ethiopia to refurbish a regional hospital, train medical staff and provide care for people from one of the poorest regions in the world. As a member of this trip, you will have the opportunity to care for people who have never seen a physician before. You may encounter conditions you've only read about. When this trip is over, you won't just leave behind the training, education and extra supplies, but you'll likely leave a small part of yourself.

As a part of your trip, each volunteer will also be provided with a Medical Kit containing over $3,000 worth of medical supplies and equipment. This specially prepared box, containing an assortment of medical supplies, medications, and instruments, is designed to be hand-carried by a short-term medical team for international use. The purpose is to provide the most common medical and surgical items needed by a short term medical team and allows us to leave behind a suitable gift for the medical staff of the local hospital. The cost is approximately $3,000 - $3,300. Each trip will include airfare, in-country travel, accommodations, scheduled meals, clean drinking water and a sight seeing opportunity. Whether you are a physician, engineer, or a cause-driven humanitarian wanting to lend a helping hand, please consider joining us for the opportunity of a life time. While anyone is welcome to participate, we are specifically looking for people to complete the following teams:

MEDICAL TEAM
Doctors and nurses are needed to set-up and run a medical clinic to provide care for 1,000 Missionaries in Assosa for a 4 day leadership training. General Practitioners, Nurses, Surgeons, Dentists, Optometrists are all needed!

CONSTRUCTION TEAM
The team will focus on refurbishing the Assosa Hospital through plumbing, painting, electrical work, re-tiling, and general repair.

SANITATION TEAM
The team will lead a seminar on basic sanitation skills and perform clean up.
